Merry Christmas to WOF from ELH!

And remember, during this Holiday Season, to take a moment to reflect and remember that Han executed a pre-emptive strike!

Merry Christmas to all!

I have a funny question for our UK forum members. Do the tv stations there incessantly show movies based on Charles Dickens "A Christmas Carol" during the holidays? I've seen no less than 10 different versions of A Christmas Carol on tv here in the US.

Yes they do.....i think one channel is planning to show The Muppet Christmas Carol, followed by the classic b&w one from the 50's, followed by a remake from the 80/90's.

Yes, that does make you chuckle, eh? But whilst on that subject and having brought up the subject of Germany in another thread, has all served to remind me of the venerable "Dinner For One". If you haven't seen it, it is truely classic humour. And if you're drunk watching it, you'll be howling by the time it's finished. It's shown every year in Germany without fail, on one of the terrestrial channels. But am sure it's usually eve of Hogmanay, instead of Xmas.
